Another worknight...

So, here I sit at work again. At least I can't say it's a bad night at work. It's just that I'm sitting in a room with all sorts of equipment beeping and alarming and making other un-Godly noises instead of home, in my nice comfy bed, snuggled up next to my hubby. Well, maybe not snuggled up -- but at least I'd be next to him. We've long gotten over the sleeping snuggled up crap...Occasionally he'll fall asleep snuggled up to me, but that doesn't last long.

Now tomorrow morning I can look forward to trying to get some rest while keeping the baby occupied. Ha! Then after getting not-enough-sleep-even-for-a-fish, I can take a quick shower (or not) and load the baby and the boys and the mutt (OK, she's not technically a mutt) into the truck for the dog's annual vet appointment. I so love being soaked by the vet every year....NOT! When I originally made this damn appointment, I counted on the teen being home from school to watch the rest of the brood. Now she informs me that she's going to be trying out for the talent show the high school is having and try-outs are Monday and Tuesday. Lovely....

Life is just so much fun, isn't it? Forgive me my pessimistic view. At least I'm not depressed...at the moment. And I haven't had an anxiety attack in a couple of weeks...I think.
